Community Dayz VIII 2006

Every so often we have a day when the community pulls together to work on tasks that are outside the normal routine. We call these days Community Dayz. To start the day off right, the cooking team will make a light breakfast with coffee, tea and juice.

The usual agenda for a Community Dayz is we form work groups, get lots of stuff done and break for lunch ... and we get lots of stuff done as many hands make light work. Even better is that a hearty meal prepared by the cooking team will be ready when the folks break from their tasks.

Here we have a team planting cedar trees. By working together, we strengthen the bonds of community and build trust.
