EnoWeen 2006

Our tenth annual EnoWeen (the first in 1997 had us giving old-fashioned Halloween treats from the imaginary porches of our future homes).

This year's theme was the Wizard of Oz and this young Dorothy is more interested in treats from her neighbors than having an audience with the Wizard. She had an afternoon of activities such as a tour down the yellow brick road (our pedway). One event on the tour was apples thrown from the trees, but unlike the movie, our EnoWeenies threw the apples back at the trees. (A surprise to the organizers!)

One lesson we learnt from The Wizard of Oz was there is no place like home … especially if it is Eno Commons.
